Prior to joining the FCA-KC staff team, Steve was the pastor of a church near Wichita, KS. He and his wife, Connie, invested four years in that ministry before God led them to pursue His work through FCA. Steve was also an assistant high school coach for football, wrestling and strength and conditioning at Remington High School. He is a former triathlete who competed in the top of his age group.
Steve on Integrity: Integrity should be a core value in all walks of life. It is so much bigger than just being one of FCA’s four core values. I see integrity as making choices because it is the right thing to do and not just the popular thing to do. Sometimes we have to choose the harder right over the easier wrong. I challenge myself and others with this thought: Your reputation is what others think of you. Your character is what God knows you to be. We should strive daily for our reputation and our character to be one and the same. That is the Christ like model of integrity we should all desire to posses. |
