A Kansas City native, Amy’s FCA experience began when she started and co-lead her huddle at Oak Grove High School. Amy now ministers in her hometown area, bringing to the team over six years of experience with YouthFront ministries and Club121. In high school she was a four sport athlete and she continues to enjoy athletics today. Amy joined the Kansas City Staff in November of 2007.
Amy on joining the FCA team: I am excited to serve Jesus under the umbrella of FCA. Sports are what drive the calendars, passions and resources of many Americans today. For many, sports have become their god. I am excited to redeem this area of passion for many students for the Lord and use this passion as a platform to further His glory. I am privileged to be able to do this under the leadership of an organization that values integrity, service, teamwork, and excellence. These are all vital to ministry that is truly ushering in the Kingdom of God in the world today. I desire to be a part of something bigger than myself and FCA is that! Being on staff with FCA allows me the opportunity to connect with, disciple, shepherd, invest in, and empower student-athletes who will be the leaders of tomorrow—both in the business world and in the church. Now that is something to get you out of bed in the morning. |
