Pray for Camp

Thank you for partnering with FCA-KC in praying for God's favor as we endeavor to minister athletes and coaches through our summer camp offerings.  FCA has created a thirty day agenda to guide and unite all who are praying for camp this summer.  We thank you for praying through the 30 Days of Prayer listed below--see our site in August as we cite answers to this prayer investment.

1.     Pray for God’s hand to rest on the coaches, staff, and campers.

2.     Pray for God to touch the campers’ lives in specific ways.

3.     Pray for the funds needed to be raised for camp scholarships.  Many athletes cannot attend without financial assistance.

4.     Pray for teamwork and unity to bind the camp leadership.

5.     Pray for the safety of the campers – that they would be free from harm, illness or injury.

6.     Pray for safe travel – to and from camp.

7.     Pray for the Lord to get the specific athletes and coaches to camp that need His touch and ask for the Lord to remove any doubt or questions.

8.     Pray for the details of camp – that all the logistics of the schedule will unfold smoothly.

9.     Pray for the huddle leaders (counselors) – pray for their purity and passion as they share with the youth.

10.  Pray for the clinic coaches during instruction time – that they teach with Godly words and actions.

11.  Pray for the speakers who will be challenging the athletes – that the Lord will speak through them. 

12.  Pray for hearts to be given to the Lord.  Pray for followers of Christ.

13.  Pray for Christian athletes to be strengthened in their walk – to be encouraged to live for Him.

14.  Pray for camp follow-up - that the youth will get plugged into churches and FCA Huddle groups.

15.  Pray that lives will be changed and that the decisions will impact future generations.

16.  Pray that God will use the campers and coaches in their own communities when they return home.

17.  Pray that parents would encourage and invest in the growth of their children’s Christian walks.

18.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict, comfort and counsel the campers.

19.  Pray that God would use the athletes and coaches to bring revival to our land.

20.  Pray for the Coaches Camps and the families that attend – that they would grow closer to the Lord.

21.  Pray against spiritual warfare – that the staff will put on the full armor of God each day.

22.  Pray for great weather – that the athletes will be able to workout each day.

23.  Pray for the FCA Camp facilities and for good coordination and relationships with facility staff.

24.  Pray for the National Camp Office and the staff that serves throughout the year.

25.  Pray for hearts to be broken, sin to be revealed and righteousness to be lived out.

26.  Pray for athletes to realize how to combine their faith and their love for sports – that they would understand that their athletic talent is from God.

27.  Pray for the coaches’ influence on the youth – that their words and actions will demonstrate the love of Jesus.

28.  Pray for Leadership Camp – that student/athletes will be fired up to take Christ to their campus!

29.  Pray for the local field staff that is coordinating all the camps – recruiting, staffing the camp, fundraising and working the camp.

30.  Pray for volunteers who will be willing to serve in the camps.
